tomatoes!

Here are some pictures of the tomatoes, it's amazing how much they've grown in the last week or so, nearly all the plants (over a dozen) have tomatoes now, but i'll have to dig for the labels to be able to tell you which are which. There is sorrel at the end of the bed near the large pot, some peppers at the other end, and some cilantro stuck in between there somewhere. It's hard to see in the pics. Also, the first shot is of the balcony where I have, yes, more tomatoes, basil, and catnip.

Here are some pics of the Hosta and Impatiens I planted recently, they all seem to be doing really well. These beds get alot of shade, not much direct sunlight at all. Most of the hostas are starting to bloom, except for the one that Lucy decided to eat. I expect most of the impatiens will get much bigger and fill in. There are also Hydrangeas, Thyme, and some moneywort as groundcover but it isn't doing much just yet. Lindsey just filled in the beds with Eucalyptus mulch, it's supposed to help keep bugs away, but the mosquitoes sure don't seem to mind it! I just wanted to share these pics, but i'll upload some of the tomato garden next.

this is Lucy. She's my puppy. I've never really had a dog of my own before, but her kindness and intelligence really blows me away. She's going to school at K9 University (myK9U.com) in Oklahoma City. So far she's completed Basic and Intermediate Obedience, and Basic Agility. I'll have her complete Obedience training soon, and have her do Protection training, but she's still just a puppy.

bloggythingy.

All i need is a Blog. Why not? I'm already on myspace, Facebook, Twitter, and several automotive (mini cooper) related forums. Just one more place for me to mind melt into the intrawebz, and gripe about stuff that shouldn't really bother me. Sounds like fun, and by the way, I have no idea what i'm doing so this should be interesting.
